last night Jordan and I went on a date to the Vancouver ballet. it was so fun to get dressed up and spend the evening downtown. the performance was beautiful!

stuffed acorn squash
last night I made acorn squash stuffed with quinoa, mushrooms, broccoli, chickpeas, sunflower seeds and craisins. it was so yummy!!!

yesterday we went to the bird sanctuary with some friends. the walk was beautiful. the hundreds of ducks following us...hmmmm ;)
beginning 2013
this year Jordan and I were a sick little family for the whole week after Christmas, so we snuggled up together in bed and had our new year kiss right before turning the light off to fall asleep. so far it has been a cold but sunny 2013. I sure love the sun! (this is a game that my dad bought for christmas. totally frustrating to begin with, but after we played for a bit it ended up being really fun!)
